IDAHO

Emotional Safety Education Proposal

ERADICATE BULLYING & TEEN SUICIDE AT THEIR ROOT

The U.S. averages one school shooting per week!

One in four youth seriously consider suicide, one in six have a suicide plan, and two million attempt it every year. That's more than all the students in the states of WA, OR, ID, and HI combined, every, single year. Suicide and homicide are now the 2nd and 3rd leading causes of death among children as young as 10-years old! Nothing has worked against this overwhelming force—until now!

GRANT PER SCHOOL, IN TRAINING AND RESOURCES FOR EMOTIONAL SAFETY EDUCATION

$50,000

We have answers to help eradicate the root causes behind some of our nation's toughest youth issues through a comprehensive, K-Adult, community-wide approach. It works and we have 30 years of success stories to prove it, but we can't get these life-saving tools to our schools fast enough. With 5,000 youth suicides attempts each day, and campus violence intensifying, time is measured in the lives of precious children.

Current programs don't work because you cannot use external solutions to fix internal issues.  Emotional safety is the key to self-governance, innovation, and high achievement and will provide the early education foundation required for all of your existing programs.

No one person can solve this problem alone, but together, we can help Idaho's schools achieve emotional safety and lead the nation in emotional safety education. Please consider the following Emotional Safety Education Strategic Plan. I'd love to meet with you to discuss it further.

THE GOAL

FOR EVERY CHILD TO BE EMOTIONALLY SAFE AT SCHOOL

Every child has the right to be educated in an emotionally safe environment. According to the Center for Disease Controle's ACES research, there is a direct correlation between adverse childhood experiences (ACE), school performance, and life outcome. Our research takes this one step further to reveal campus culture as a leading contributor to ACE as well as a key factor in its prevention and healing once ESE has been implemented.

We must start with understanding how we got to this point, the real underlying issues, and the tools required to fix them. We provide all of our training and teacher resources 100% Free with extended grants for a community-wide approach.

How much is the life of one child worth or the societal loss of underachieving students? We could not place a price on a single child, so all the information is free with no obligations. Schools that choose to implement ESE on their campus receive extended grants that cover everything except their student's leadership packs.

We're asking the Albertson's Foundation along with other endowments, community leaders, and businesses, to partner with us to create a Seed Grant program to match school and parent contributions toward the initial student resources. Once the program is implemented it is SELF-FUNDING from that point on! Your one-time gift can change a child's life, their family, school, and community for generations to come.

Let us prove ourselves to you, the state of Idaho and the rest of the nation. Please consider joining us to launch a prototype program of 50-100 schools. We'll work directly with the schools. We'll prove our ability to produce almost overnight results with ecstatic kids begging to go to school (It happens in every school we test!) We'll report back to you all the official data. We are confident every school in Idaho will want ESE once they hear the incredible reports coming from other Idaho schools.

We have the tools to defeat this "Goliath!"  If we work together and act now we can stop these issues before they ever start! We ask for the opportunity to astound you.

PROOF OF CONCEPT

The proof of concept is in the program itself. Championeers! is the result of 30-years of research and development and thousands of at-risk students who taught us what worked and what didn't. Many of these students became interns who helped lead or create the programs. Most came from Title I schools and did fundraisers or donated their tithes from babysitting and fieldwork to put on camps for the children in their communities!  All became leaders in their schools. Some have stayed with us for years, completing their credentials for our latest project—launching a college where they will be the professors who teach their students to dream! (You gotta just love that!)

In addition, the original school I started this program in, with a violent campus culture and a 50% dropout rate, has maintained its "new" campus culture since 1990. The students went on to spearhead a project with the EPA that protected their entire town. That's quite an improvement from students who cut teacher brake lines for fun— in the mountains, played Russian Roulette as their favorite passtime, and set the school on fire while we were all still in it! Transformation began the moment we accidently stumbled on our first tool.

We didn't set out to develop a system, we developed people and in the process discovered when you provide seven essential elements people become emotionally safe, and when they are emotionally safe they tap into the limitless potential of who they really are.

We can do this in as little as 5 minutes a day with no teacher prep. We've boiled down these incredibly complex solutions so even the students can lead it.

ELEMENTARY

SCHOOLS

$50,000 GRANT PER SCHOOL

IN TRAINING AND RESOURCES FOR EMOTIONAL SAFETY EDUCATION AND CAMPUS CULTURE DEVELOPMENT

Stop critical youth issues before they start. This is a complete system for schools serious about emotional safety, campus culture development, and leadership training. Our prevention program begins in elementary school. This camp-style approach captivates students while internalizing tools that increase both academic and social problem-solving skills.

Kids Love it! Teachers Love it! Parents Love it!

Schools are transformed through it.

HIGH

SCHOOLS

$50,000 GRANT PER SCHOOL

IN TRAINING AND RESOURCES FOR EMOTIONAL SAFETY EDUCATION AND CAMPUS CULTURE DEVELOPMENT

The power behind the ESE System is our prevention, intervention, and emotional triage implementation. We go after the root causes of the issues while simultaneously addressing the symptoms. The high school ESE system includes an immediate action assembly with a 30-Day Limitless Challenge delivered directly to students through SMS Messaging. This is followed up with The Limitless Life-Map, an online or on-campus class that guides students through a process of discovering their greater "YES." It incorporates all seven of the essential elements required for emotional safety and incorporates peer mentorship based on friendship. We encourage schools to award credits for the completion of the online courses as an incentive to participate.

FAMILY NIGHT ADVENTURES

FREE TRAINING AND RESOURCES FOR PARENTS

This powerful resource is coordinated with the school's Championeers! Emotional Safety Education System to provide reinforcement of intrinsic lessons taught through your own family values and belief systems. Develops life skills, problem-solving tools, and communication for the whole family.

BUSINESS

SEED GRANTS & CORPORATE CULTURE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS

Chamber of Commerce and businesses partner to donate Seed Grants for student leadership packs. The ESE System is self-funding once it is implemented, turning your one-time donation into a lifetime gift. Donors are attributed and thanked at all public performances for the life of a program. Your gift today may very well continue to bring organization recognition thirty years from now!

Strategic tools are available for businesses to incorporate ESE, ethics and efficiency training with their employees.

CIVIC & POLICE

A CULTURE OF HEROISM

Three of the Seven Essential Elements required for Emotional Safety are a Culture of Leadership, a Culture of Honor, and a Culture of Heroism. To promote intentional community and town heroism we provide an ESE Grant for civil servants, law enforcers, and first responders to understand critical youth issues and how to help fix them. We also coordinate with representatives of these organizations to present the ESE Grant to their local schools!  Can you imagine an assembly of children receiving a $50,000 giant grant certificate and all their student leadership packs delivered by their mayor and police officers! Kids go NUTS and guess who gets all the credit? They do, by strategic design, to establish ES in the school and reverence for authority. Leaders are instantly honored and gain a respected platform to lead the children in your community. Kids love it, and you will too.

CHURCH

& COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS

Education takes place through many venues; school, home, church, and social organizations. ESE should be integrated into all of them. Churches provide religious instruction as well as first tier support, aid, and comfort, for our community's citizens. To help support this important role, we extend the ESE Grant to churches along with optional resources designed specifically for family education.
